Safety and tech
Systems that make our car seats the perfect choice to ensure your little one travels safely.
ISOFIX system
Isofix is an anchoring system that ensures a quick and secure installation of the seat in the vehicle. Since 2006, all vehicles have been equipped with Isofix and a top tether anchor point to secure the upper part of the seat and prevent forward rotational movement.
This anchoring system significantly reduces installation errors compared to those using the vehicle’s seatbelt to secure the seat. It clearly provides greater protection for the child and makes handling easier for parents.
Reinforced side wings
Increasing importance is given to side protection as it is vital to protect children in the event of an accident. Car seats are usually fitted next to the car door so the child is “directly” exposed in the event of a side collision. Consequently, our latest seats include reinforcement systems on the sides of the backrest and the headrest to protect the most sensitive areas of the child’s body. This is a layer of EPS foam that acts like a shield to absorb and minimise the effect of the collision.
SIPS. Side impact protection system
This is a protection system that acts in the first phase of a side impact absorbing part of the energy that is produced during the collision. It consists of cushioning on the chair sides that can be adjusted to use on the side closest to the door, removing it from the opposite side to give the other passengers more space.
